Doug could put a smile on a smile. He was so thoughtful and kind, sharing music, food, enthusiasm and always with that gleaming smile. We’ll always be neighbours, wherever we are.

Thank you for being such a good and caring friend. We will miss your humour (followed by a smile and chuckle) and your thoughtful responses (to even the simplest of questions). Callum especially, will miss talking about (esoteric) music with you.
Travel well as you embark upon your next great adventure through the Universe, a mightier journey than 'the big hitch' to John o’Groat.
